My experience at Verbum exceeded all the expectations that I could have had for any language school. My teacher, Laura, was excellent. She explained the toughest grammatical constructs with facility and clarity. And she was just a great person, in fact, much like the rest of the staff, who together made Verbum a wonderful place to meet people, speak and learn Spanish without fear, and just have fun. I’m certainly indebted to Verbum for making my time in Bs. As. a great one.

Verbum school was a great part of our Argentinian experience. My family and I stayed in Buenos Aires for two months this past summer. The whole trip was fantastic and a lot of it had to do with Verbum. The school was in a great location. Easy to get to by bus or subway. The teachers for myself, wife and eight year old son where very kind, knowledgeable and well experienced. The services provided by Verbum where awesome. The secretary was basically our own personal travel agent. Also, the other students where great. They came from all over the world and where just very kind people in general. I can't say enough about how much Verbum made our experience better. We all speak better Spanish as well.

I had a truly rewarding experience at Verbum. The school has a friendly, family feel to it. The materials were excellent and comprehensive. My teacher (Natacha), having a degree in literature, has an amazing knowledge of Spanish grammar. The classes were enjoyable, interesting, and flexible. When my head was spinning from structured grammar, we would shift to casual conversation; sharing ideas, cultural facts, poetry, music, film and just plain chit-chat. This balance of vocabulary, grammar, and real-life conversation was the perfect way to learn the language. The prices were incredibly reasonable, the atmosphere comfortable and friendly, and the program well structured. I would recommend Verbum to anyone with a desire to speak Spanish and to get to know some of the wonderful people of Argentina.

I studied with Verbum for a month before starting my trip round South America.
They were very helpful organising my home stay in Buenos Aires (with a lovely couple I still keep in contact with now).
The school itself is very friendly and relaxed. As well as the lessons they organised excursions to local points of interest out of town which were all worthwhile. Over the month my class size was between 3 and 4 people which I felt was perfect. There was also a good balance between practical vocabulary / situations and the grammatical side with all the many tenses!! My teacher was very competent and also unbelievably kind and patient. Basically, i had a wonderful time and am very glad I started my trip with this course.

Verbum tem bons profesores, ambiente muito agradável e pessoas maravilhosas que gostan de ensinar e compartihlar conhecimiento. Os professors são ótimos; não se atem apenas ao material, busca trazer materiais usado no dia a dia ajudando a aluno a se familharizar com a língua.
E os outros estudantes muito interessante pessoas de todo o mundo com un mesmo objetivo de aprender o español, então causa uma busca intensa de conhecimiento e curiosidade.

Vi kom herned, mig og min kommerat, uden at ku snakke et ord spansk. Ydermere er ingen at os specielt vilde med at sidde på skolebenken. Så vi har taget et 1-uges-kursus, og vi føler os helt klart rustede til vores videre rejse i SydAmerika. Rigtig hyagelig atmosfære unge lørerinder og så er Buenos Aires en fremragende by. Pakken kan varmt anbefales!

Det har vaeret et rigtig godt og laererigt kursus selvom vi kun har vaeret her en uge. Der er kun faa paa hvert hold og det betyder at tempoet bliver tilpasset efter behov.
Skolen tog os endda med til tangoaften som vi ellers aldrig var kommet til.
Her er super gode laererinder. Skolen kan varmt anbefales.

The staff and students at Verbum are like one big happy family. All the teachers are very professional and organised. Very friendly, caring staff and fun outings. If you are serious about learning Spanish, then Verbum is excellent value for money.

The school is very personal with classes structured to your individual needs. It is very cheap but it doesn't sacrifice quality. Everyone is very helpful in all areas outside of class: advise on places to visit, help finding accommodation, etc.

Verbum is een kleine, maar kwalitatief hoogstaande school. Ik heb er 5 weken les gehad en ik heb echt het gevoel dat ik er veel heb geleerd. Het contact met de docenten is door zijn kleinschaligheid erg intensief en informeel. Het is gewoon erg leuk om in een dergelijke omgeving bezig te zijn met het leren van een nieuwe, vreemde taal. Ik kan hem daarom ook aan iedereen aanraden.

This school exceeded all of my expectations. Not only did I have an excellent teacher and a full curriculum, including the political history of Argentina, but Verbum also arranged living accommodations and cultural activities.
The teaching is excellent, organized and enjoyable. I learned a tremendous amount within 3 months and feel confident in my Spanish conversational skills. I looked forward to my classes every morning and enjoyed spending time with other students and teachers.
My experience in Argentina was largely shaped by the people I met at Verbum.

I thought that my teacher was excellent and very friendly. For the most part I thought that the study materials were very good and the reading material was interesting. Overal, I am very satisfied with the Spanish course as well as with the support that the school offered. The school was in a good location and was also very helpful with finding housing and generally helping students navigate the city. I would also like to say that I really loved my host family and would recommend this family highly for other students. Thank you!

It was a pleasure to study and learn Spanish at Verbum this week. For the past 5 days, we studied in semi private and private classes. The teacher in our semi private class (for 2 o us), Romina, was excellent. She explained concepts and rules about Spanish clearly and easily! The tutors in my private class were similarly excellent. Overall, my partner and I believe that our ability to understand, read and speak Spanish have improved greatly and that we have the knowledge to keep improving our Spanish outside of the classroom; thank you to all the teachers, specially Romina, at Verbum.
